As a native New Yorker, versatility is a driving force for me. My love of photography was sparked early in life when my mother gave me a Kodak Brownie that she won as a prize at my school fair. As a teenager, my father gave me his Minolta 35mm SLR which I still shoot with to this day. I started to hone my skills while studying Journalism at NYU, which became the foundation for my atmospheric and documentarian style. I like to observe and capture the honesty of a moment in real time whether it is a portrait inspired by a corner of the city or an adventure in a far flung place. This city keeps my sense of discovery blooming which has led me to new specialities like event photography. Staying close to the roots of my inspiration, I continue to avidly shoot film and it is my preferred photographic medium.
I am available for commissioned work, near and afar, with a specialization in experiential events, intimate gatherings, individual portraits and alike.
